Smith International Gulf Services LLC. was established in 1974 at the Oilfields Supply Center Limited, Dubai to service the oil and gas industry within the GCC region. It was originally formed as a joint venture between Oilfields Supply Center Limited and Smith International, Inc.
The Company’s main operations and headquarter facilities are situated within the Oilfields Supply Center Limited complex in Jebel Ali. With satellite locations in Abu Dhabi, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. SIGS is an established leader in its field of activities throughout the Middle East.
During its 40 years of service and with continual investment and innovation SIGS have maintained state-of-the-art capabilities for the manufacture, service and repair of a variety of oilfield related equipment such as:
- Manufacture of BHA Drilling tools
- API Machine shop repair services
- NDT and Lifting Equipment inspection services
- Fluid Sealing Gasket products
- Slotted Liners
- Specialized welding and hard metal applications
All of the company’s product manufacturing comes under a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001:2008 along with certification from API for API Q1 Spec-7-1, API-17D and API 6A.
