The Company was established in the early 1962 and is primarily focused on the upstream oil and gas industry for the Middle East and North Africa Region (MENA) and also has operations in Malaysia, USA, Belgium, KSA. Oilfields Supply Center Ltd. is a Government of Dubai company. Currently, there are over 1300 employees working for Oilfields Supply Center Ltd. in its various service operations and manufacturing facilities.
OSCs unique Common User Supply Base model was the first base of its kind in the UAE and the region which helped OSC quickly establish its position as the local partner of choice of the local Oil & Gas Industry. Services offered by OSC within its Common User Supply Base are diverse, however, are generally categorized as land-based facilities, logistical & integrated solutions as well as Technical & Operational support.
OSC’s UAE land portfolio of over 11 million sq. ft includes sites in Jebel Ali Free Zone; Dubai Industry City and Dubai Technopark. From these sites customers can facilitate trade to onshore and offshore UAE locations, together with ease of access to other GCC countries including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. Within these land areas, the Company has constructed industrial facilities to accommodate its own operations and those of key oilfield companies such as Schlumberger, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Weatherford and NOV to mention but a few.
Through its Subsidiaries and Divisions, OSC offers the Oil, Gas & Energy Industry a comprehensive portfolio of services that ensures efficient, reliable and cost-effective operations. Such services are provided across all of OSC major hubs around the word, and includes services such as Repair Services, Training Services, Inspection Services, Equipment Rental Services and much more. In establishing these businesses, OSC has enjoyed a long history of JVs (Joint Ventures with key industry partners such as Smith International, Schlumberger, Baker Hughes and Noble Drilling to name a few.
In addition, the Company also has a strong manufacturing orientation again with its focus on the upstream industry but additionally and importantly also manufactures pressure vessels, heat exchangers and skid-mounted gas compression packages for both oil and gas and process industries.
Key to its success has been the Company’s continued focus on QHSE as evidenced by its exemplary safety record in the industry. It has the important accreditations of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 all of which support the strong QHSE orientation.
